Find me a Motorcycle!

You sit up straight on these things. Next time we meat I'll lend you one of my magazines with a nice bike comparo between the SV650, Honda 599, Yamaha FZ6, and some others that I forgot. They are all upright seating bikes.
One of my coworkers has a Warrior and I think that thing looks fuggin' tight.
Other than the Shadow, there's always the Nighthawk 750 if you want a truly upright seating position.
h:
For Yamaha, you could always consider a used V-Star or something.
Then there's always the other Japanese makes. They all seem to be cheaper than HD's.
I guess I should say that I haven't ridden any of these bikes except for a Nighthawk 250 though. :exnbp: Good luck with your search.

These bikes come into mind:
kawasaki 500R
kawasaki Z750S
Honda 599
Suzuki SV650(non S)
Suzuki GS500
Yamaha FZ6
I've rode all of them and they are pretty comfortable and have upright seating positions. Leg room, that's a different story although they are still way more comfortable than 'crotchrockets'. These are all standards; although the 500R is usually considered a 'sportbike' and has fairings and the 04 and up GS500 have fairings that model their GSXR cousins. I had an 00 GS and I loved it.

I grew up with harley's and love the look of harley's and harley knock offs. That's what I am looking for. A look like Harley's without the harley price.
examples:
This is what I mean by upright sitting. Pegs infront of crank case/tranny. Not behind it like you are showing.
