Also you can show like your grades in your classes and stuff. Bring anything that will help you get your foot in the door. I talked to the service manager for a good 10 minutes and then I pretty much got the job.
No formal interview at all.

If you have no experience, then don't bother trying to relate how your past jobs might somehow be related to the new job. "Uh I kicked drunk assholes out of a bar, so that means I can get tough bolts off a car!" :exnbp:
Put your experience on there, put in an "Objective" section at the top saying what you're looking for, and if you have any training or anything like you went to tech school or got an ASE certification, put that in your Education section which should go after your Objective and before your Experience. Normally Education goes at the bottom but if the only thing that qualifies you for the job is your education and not your experience then you want to mention your education first.

Thanks for the tip Booty and Brar thanks for the examples
I think the new plan is to wait until i graduate first then move back home and start heading to dealerships to speak with service managers. The only thing that sucks is that by the time I graduate it'll be dead season for the auto industry sort of as ppl will go cheap on fixes to buy Christmas presents. Thanks for all the advice guys I really appreciate it
