Some of you may remember this from a post I made after I got my dirtbike registration in the mail, for a dirtbike that I no longer own. I sold it last summer before I moved back up to norcal. I thought that I had filled out the release of liability, but apparently not...or they don't have it. The guy that bought it never registered it, and I don't have any of his information. I just called the DMV and asked what my options were. Apparently, I can't release liability unless I have the guy's name and address....which I don't anymore. So basically, I'm responsible for it forever because I don't have that information....and I have to continue to pay the registration on it. Horseshit.
