The 1.8T are quick in stock form, had a hard time keeping up way back when I had my 240SX. My cousin also drove a Jetta TDI for a couple years with zero problems and awesome gas mileage.

I'd almost consider getting a VR6 model but I'd be too paranoid about the electrical stuff.

:blah: i have my reasons and im sure that they work out fine for some people but i will continue to think they are junk and im not alone...

they arent all that bad. my gti has been good to me. 2003 with 68k. :dunno:
