Did your stomach on the right side ever just go numb?

I had appendicitis once and was 6 hours from a burst when they caught it.

I have a strange threshold for pain and all I could describe it as is the urge to let out one really good fart and all would be right with the world. Once they did the white count and then called me in for the sonogram I was high and had a few beers with my lunch as they rushed me to the OR :chuckles:

 

I had a double hernia...but I was like 6 months old.

 

i had a hernia, actually had surgery last nov. for it.

the only discomfort i had was that every once in a while i'd feel like i'd gotten kicked in the right nut. :x

 

I had appendicitus when I was younger, hurt so bad down in the area half way between the hipbone and crotch on the right side, all that I could do to stop the pain was keep my leg bent up to my chest. Nothing was numb, it hurt like hell.

 

Had a hernia when I was a little kid (I still have the scars). I don't really remember much about it though.

 

thats more or less what happened with me. i had real bad abdominal pain and it went down into my nads. it hurt like hell. but if i stayed hunched over, i was okay. turned out it had ruptured and they had to rush me into emergency surgery. i was sick as hell for about a week.

if you think it might be your appendix, go get it checked out asap.
