I can hear the engine crying even when we go up a slight incline. It spends a lot of time between 4 and 5k rpms because we are trying to keep an average speed of 70 mph. I don't think the CRV was designed to be towing anything with it's 2.4L 4-banger.

After a good night's sleep and a nice waffle breakfast we're on the road again, destination: Oaklahoma City. It should take us about 9 hours with stops. I would like to stop in TX but I have no idea what to look for.
Anyway, there is a chance I could come through Philly Jaye, but I will figure that out once we get to D.C

I am sorry that you are driving through Texas (granted thats the only way through). That is the most boring ride ever...and be sure to NOT stop in Amarillo...I have yet to encounter nice people there, so I fill up before entering texas and then afer texas.
