Default What Does HAN Think Of This? v.Hatch

Since my previous car fell through that I was planning on buying, I need to find a new one. I can't find any hatchbacks around me. I did a search on AutoTrader within 300 miles and found 4 hatchs. 2 new 6k+, 1 8 miles from me that I stopped in at before, but the same shady dealership that claimed their CRX with the bent frame couldn't have a bent frame. Then 1 92 for 5k about 300 miles from me.

I just saw one on Craigslist. Its a 1991 Honda Civic hatch.
Runs good. Recent clutch replacement. Alloy wheels. Interior in good shape. Four new snow tires and wheels. Car has been garaged.

I did want a newer one but I might have to settle on this. 280k, 'one of those japanese motors' was swapped in by the previous owners. Hes asking $2000 for it. I'm going to take a look at it monday night. I like all gens of the hatchs but I really liked the 92-95(I think) series.
I don't really know what to do. I've had 4 people come looking at my car today and 5 or 6 call about it. So I think it will be sold within the week, then I'm out of a car, and that means I can't get a job.
My sister just sold her car today, the guy is flying up from LA to get it this week. Shes moving for an internship so she needs to take our VW. That means we'll only have our van for this week, until I buy a car or my sister gets a Scion xA.

So what do you guys think of the car? Should I go and see what happens, see if I can talk him down some or what? I'm just afraid the same thing is going to happen again like the CRXs.

maybe 'one of those japanese motors' means a B-series:rick: If you really want a 92-95 then do your best to hold out for one. If this one really does intrest you and your not just rushing yourself then by all means go have a look.

I really don't know what to do. Honda prices are seriously jacked up out in Washington, plus there are few hatchs for sale. I have a feeling I might need to travel to find one I like.
Perhaps eBay..
