It's still a stock Type-S head.

That car belongs to one of the co-owners. My brother-in-law is the other half.

TSX block mated with Type-S head. This guy is an all motor gay, so he's probably not going to turbo it.

An n/a Honda engine pumping 250hp will dominate a turbo Honda engine making 300hp every time due to variables in the power/tq curve especially when the n/a curve is alot more linear and has a more useable powerband.

Back in the days when 250hp was the best you can do n/a, that car with a competent driver and chassis setup would likely be in the deep 11s. As for the turbo guy with the same amount of power, it's likely they will still be in the high 12s/low 13s.

Are you talking on a stock D series? Or a B series + turbo setup? Bseries swap + turbo setup that would make 300+ whp would cost more than a K swap.

i agree that its easy to get the power out of the k. but with swapping and modding couldnt you just invest that money into the B?

I don't know about you, but I'd rather start with the best platform from the get-go. Besides, Kseries motors and parts are already starting to drop in price.
