Default 12 miles+bike=ftl
So I got suckered in to a bike ride on one of the "Tracks to Trails" park things (the state turns old railroad tracks into walkable/bikeable trails) with my roomie and her mom. I got suckered in because the roomie said "there are a lot of good looking guys on bikes." Any smart woman would drop all her plans and go :hsugh: Little did I know.. her mom is fucking Lance Armstrong. I made it the 12 miles but damn.. my butt hurts.

Cue lame butt jokes...

HH, if you train a little bit a 25-50 mile ride at 15 mph or so is really easy, and friggin awesome exercise. Given that you made it the 12 at I'm guessing around 10 mph, if you rode twice a week for two months you could be pulling 50 milers without feeling like hell the next day.


Get a good seat and some appropriate clothing and it's not bad at all.
