Go to court and fight it, 5 over is ridiculous, just tell them it was downhill, I don't see why they wouldn't cut you a break unless you have an awful record.

you can pretty easily get off for 5 over. In a lot of places cops aren't allowed to write tickets for <5 over because of inherent radar gun errors and the cosine error.

edit: why the hell would they even bother you for that...do you have a fart can or any obnoxious modifications?

What city did you get this in? When you go to the judge, just tell the truth, say you're sorry, kiss his ass and more than likely he'll lower the charges n' shit. If it's night court, even better. They just want to move people out of the room.

anaheim hills...

and it's not happening with getting off because there have been >100 complaints from the neighborhood saying people are going too fast... that's why he was chilling where he was. i mean i could always give it a shot and see what happens

edit... but if i fight it... im sacraficing my chances for traffic school

Where I live u can have 1 court supervision a year, all that happens is you pay like 30 bucks and you have to drive ticket free for 30 days, if you get another ticket within 6 months it goes on your record but if its after 6 months of the court supervision, you can get traffic school.
