Default Compootar Gooroos Entar Heeeeereeeee!

A couple years ago my dad and I built his computer. I guess USB 2.0 wasn't big then or something because all of his USB ports are the low speed ones. I figured I'll hunt around for him to look for a high speed USB board.
The more ports the better, but I'd like to stick with 4. Firewire would be nice but not needed.

I'm having a hard time finding one that looks like it would be good. Alot of them are only 5 bucks and that scares me from them. What boards do you guys have and what one should I get?
What would you put into your own computer?

A lot of those types of cards use the same main chipset, just happen to be assembled by diffrent companies.

I'd just look for a common chipset and then get the cheapest one.

Just get the cheapest one. You'll never know the difference. If you must have a name brand, get the Belkin.
