Anyone watching this on ESPN? I was wondering why they spin their net around when they run with the ball :dunno:

It's the NCAA championships. Virginia vs. UMass. Dont really know the rules but it looks pretty cool

The "spinning the net" thing is called cradling, and it's equivalent to dribbling in basketball.

So you have to do it certain amount of times when running or it'd be traveling or something?

no, it keeps the ball in the net and makes it harder to get it hit out
edit: I think. We played it in PE and we had to do it, I don't think it is required
