Overall I guess I would say Jimi > SRV

i say this on the basis that (among other things) i like SRV's version of Voodoo Child (Slight Return) more than Jimi's. i just happen to hear both versions today on my ipod, within an hour of each other.

I don't know....I think Jimi was more revolutionary. As far as just being a better guitar player, Stevie might be a little better.
