speaking of losing senses, i went to lunch today (at 3pm ct) and was listening to my radio loud (got a decent system in my car) when i went back to work i couldnt hear out of my right ear. Its now 9:20pm ct and i still cant hear out of my ear...... losing hearing kinda sucks too!

Oh and im blind in my left eye, losing sight sucks as well!

 

last year i was sick for like 2 days but i lost my smell...so my taste went away...it stayed like that for 3 weeks...it was the worst experience i had in my life. couldnt eat anything and enjoy it. i just didnt eat, i lost weight, was always tired and getting depressed. i would not want that on anyone

upon further investigation, it seems i've lost my sense of smell, which is in turn affecting my sense of taste.

apparently it's worse to lose your sense of taste, than the sense of smell. they say that people who lose their sense of smell eventually adapt, whereas people who lose their sense of taste almost never get over it.

my dad has lost his sence of smell and taste. he is no that bad off... actually he can till taste things, he can tell if it's too salty, sweet and shit like that but lost the finess of taste.

 

then he lost his sense of smell, which is in turn affecting his sense of taste.

the sense of taste is just that really, the ability to differentiate sweet, sour, salty, etc.. being able to tell whether something is chocolate or strawberry is thanks to your sense of smell.
