Ya, but on startup I should be able to read that with a hardware monitor. I see exactly where you're coming from and I'm going to look into it. There are plenty of people on www.mp3car.com that run carputers and I haven't seen anything mentioning overheating from being in the car. Also realize that I live in Colorado. It hasn't even hit 80 deg here yet this year. If it starts getting really hot, I can just pull the laptop and bring it inside with me to work. Good looking out.

h:Yes, definitely. All wiring was run under the panels on each side of the car. The power wire on one side; the data/audio on the other to deter any possible interferance. It's quite clean if I do say so myself.
