Workout crew: Shoulder pain? :(
About a week and a half ago, my right shoulder started hurting, involving exercises pushing away and pushing up from my chest. I have it a week of no shoulder exercise, and it still hurts. It only hurts a little bit during the exercise, but I know pain like that isn't good. It feels like one of the muscles that runs along the outside front of my shoulder is what's causing the problem.
Any idea how much longer I should lay off it? I really want to do chest tonight, but judging from the way my shoulder felt after 5 pushups, that may not be the best idea...

I hurt mine in the rotator cuff area in mid December...I had soreness, and my collar bone pops when I move my shoulder forward. I'd lay off for 2 weeks, and then see how it feels.

I still get some pain in my shoulder near the edge of the shoulder blade/rotator cuff area...havent started lifting again yet, but I'm going to try in a few weeks.

If it's more of a muscle pain across the backside of the shoulder you probably strained a muscle doing pull downs or back exercises.
