Maybe that's how the Who's get their gold. They have a cell, with no obvious who names in it, under their control start shit with a weaker cell. They then send out one of the "Who's" to trade for GB for hits.

 

Never thought of that, it is a plausable idea. We will have to see when we go to war next, we do need to get some respect back. If they call again or show up on the other team. This war was not started by the Who though, for they would not have listened to Sasha at first.

As much as I'd love to help in a war.. i need better weapons and armor first as I'm sure a few of these guys do or at least better stats.

 

It makes perfect sense to me. Get a few guys, arm them, make sure none of their screen names have a "who" in it. Tell them to all go out and start shit. They send in an official "Who" offering hits for GB's. The lower level cell will hand over GB to get the hits to stop.

The "Who" hits the members of the instigating cell. A few of them go down (50GB + 12 GB per addt'l hit). Say they get 110 GB. The war stops. Everyone doesn't question what happened, because everyone assumes the "Who" got involved. Whom would want to war with the Who? Only someone crazy would keep it up after 5 hits from the "Who".

Everyone else eyeballing the war think everything is fine. Everyone assumes that the instigating cell got lucky that more "Who's" didn't get involved.

The lower cell thinks they just got a bargain. They're just happy that the war is over and things go back to normal.

Who's get their gold without it looking like extortion... and without having to bargain weapons, housing, and training.

In our case, it didn't work out like that. We have friends in good places.

edit: I know you feel weird about paying $3 for a donor pack (I did at first also). Even if you only get one, think about it. You will be able to wire money, you get friend and enemy lists, and your energy fills up twice as fast (train twice as fast). It is well worth it in my opinion.
