Well I ended up calling the local township police where the accident occurred. After about 5 minutes on hold the officer said nothing was logged in or called in at that time of the day when it happened.

Which means it was settled between the two drivers.

Now maybe next time the Jetta will not be tailgating (if he was) and hopefully Mustang owner will keep it on the track.
