Prednisone didn't do squat for me when I had severe allergies once season a while back (although it is supposed to be very good at reducing welling). But I only took it for 2-3 days.

Same here. Hate the stuff. Caused me to break out w/ terrible acne. Took almost a year afterwards for it to completely go away.

 

She is a trip when she is on it.

 

I take prednisone shot or pills almost once a year. When it's the pill, it's a 10mg pill, but I start with 4 per day and taper off to 1/2 a pill over a span of 2 weeks.

Seriously calms down allergies and eczema. Side effect while taking it: gotta piss frequently like an old man, that's it. It'd be a miracle medicine to me if it didn't have seriously LONG term side effects (liver damage, kills your bones, glocoma, etc etc).

 

yepp they have me on some osteroperosis* drug for bone loss.
