i guess i only started watching mtv in 2000... so i dont remember th good ol' days.

Cablevision in NJ has MTV Hits, MTV Espanol, and VH1 Soul in their digital plan

MTV has great editing. They are so the trendy station, that is completely works for who they are aiming for. A very well put together bunch of shows. We might not like the bases of the shows, but it certainly has an impact on the up and coming youngsters. NEXT.

So basically what your saying is they reinvent themselves every couple of years to cater to a single audience of youngsters and just forget everyone else....

The only thing Music related on MTV now is TRL, which in itself is loosely music based. I've grown up watching MTV, I still watch it when I can as I find some of the shows entertaining, very stupid, but entertaining.
