1.5 years is way too long

Default 1.5 years is way too long

i was supposed to save up and wait for a h23 head swap, crower cams and the ITB's

but i want to do it now, dammit!

(im waiting to pass smog first...whch is every two years)

pass smog first so that i have another 2 years to play around with my head swap and ITB's

as opposed to only maybe 1 year....because i still have to save up money

What Doood was saying was after the work you won't be able to pass smog. With the logic you are using you should save longer and buy a second vehicle which will pass smog and be your daily driver while this one gets put on a trailer for track only duty...unless you move to a place that doesn't require smog testing.

i do have a vehicle avilable for DD while the cb7 is under work.

with all the stuff done to the accord, i know for a fact that im not going to pass smog.
just pay someone off.

If this is such a big conern for you, then maybe you shouldn't do it in the first place. What, all this is such a hassle for you just for 10-15+hp?

And btw, the H23 is one of Honda's worst head designs.

thats not going to stop me from doing it...sorry.

probably why a h23 has 160hp and my f22a6 only has 20

so it is actually a 20hp (crank) difference...along with cams, itb's and a tune.
im shooting for 170whp
