With the logic you are using you should save longer and buy a second vehicle which will pass smog and be your daily driver while this one gets put on a trailer for track only duty...unless you move to a place that doesn't require smog testing.
i do have a vehicle avilable for DD while the cb7 is under work.
with all the stuff done to the accord, i know for a fact that im not going to pass smog.
just pay someone off.
