Actually i cant think of anyone that i know that wouldnt love this movie! apart from people who cant get over the violence and cant understand that it's not in the movie for the sake of it being violent...

well, of course they are always in the middle. But think about it, the movie does a great job at showing a cycle of how things work. How the youngsters come up and then take power, etc.. It's kind of sad in a way, because it shows how this cycle never seems to get better, nor ever come to an end. There's always new gangs and new leaders arising within the slums.
i really loved how they show that it's an ongoing cycle... and the make sure you understand from the beggining like the first time we see the APPARTMENT, the story stops complatly, then he tells us the whole story of the apartment... i beleive this one should go in the classics.
