It's less than a year old and still under warranty. Just take it back to an Apple store and they will fix it for you.

oh yeah...I didn't notice you said less than a year.
yes, it's still under warranty. go to an Apple store if there's one near you..they'll probably replace it if they have on in stock.

Damn thats lame, I've had mine since August 04 and its been a champ. Still gives me decent battery life and Its been beat up more than a hooker's vagina.

Like I said, if they have any Minis left in stock, they'll probably just do an even exchange. They did for my sister when her's was fawked up.
