Which I haven't used in over a year. They sent it to my school address, which they shouldn't have. Is this fake (before I click the link)?

Don't click on that link in the e-mail.

what does it do?

don't ever click the link on that. It's a fake site that gathers your login information.


1. paypal never calls you "member"
2. hover over the real link in the email ... notice the URL.

forward this to "spoof@paypal.com". With something like this, never ever click on the link. Always type in the address yourself though a seperate browser

I'm pretty sure that's not a legit PayPal link. I'd log into your account by typing in www.paypal.com and just check it out. If there's an issue you'll see something about it once you log in. Chances are there's nothing wrong with your account and that link in the e-mail will just give access to your account to someone else. :nervous:

I agree...don't click. That happened to me, I got caught in the scam.

legitimate PayPal emails ALWAYS refer to you by your full name.

And you call yourself an OG...
