question about weed smoke
If I am around weed smoke, will it show up on a drug test? I will be going to a concert this Thursday and I am assuming some fool will be blazing at the venue. My concern is that I may have to take a drug test for a possible job within the next week.

Yes it will show up on a drug screen if you inhale enough of it through second hand.

No it won't show up. You would have to be in a 5'x5' room with like 10 people each smoking their own stuff at one time for 6 hours straight for it to show up. There's a lot of info on this subject at www.marijuana.com. Search their forums. Trust me, your ok.

If you actively steer clear of those who are smoking weed, you should be fine. Like John said, if you're standing right next to someone and you keep inhaling the second hand smoke, it will show up. But if you just get a wiff of it and try and avoid it, you'll be fine.

if you have enough second hand to get high, it will show up.
if you smell it, it's not like you'll fail ... but if you constantly take deep breaths for 2+ hours, then yea, you're contact high.

There's not enough THC from the exhaled smoke to show up on a piss test. They don't even look for the THC they look for the metabolytes(sp) with THC content in a normal assay test.

2 main things to consider. One, it depends on the density and time. The longer you are breathing in a higher density of smoke, the more your body will absorb. That you have control over.
Two, what you don't have control over is how detailed they can detect it and at what level they consider it a problem.
For example, lets say on a scale of 1 to 100 your body has a concentration of 5. If their detection can only detect 10 or higher, your safe. If you have an 11, they probably can detect it, but it'll be so low they might not say anything since it's so low.

Ok cool. I bought the ticket already and just realized this may be an issue. Its a Sean Paul concert so I am sure there will be a few ppl smoking. Its a good sized venue and its sold out so there will be a good amount of ppl there.
