maybe if prejudice hasn't been around since the dawn of humanity, I'd agree. And yes, while raising children in the manor you mentioned would possibly work, its still something that'll never happen. Therefor, since thats how its been, and most likely how it will be, couldn't we say its human nature?
We all have some hate. Well, to some extent.
I do not hate black people at all. I have many black friends. But what really bothers me is here in cincinnati they have a Black Family Reunion. Which is cool and all. But one year someone tried to form a White Family Reunion and the Black Panthers came down screaming racism everywhere. Passing out flyers and stuff. I just don't understand that at all. They also let the Black Panthers come here and do their rallies and pass out papers. But if the KKK (no i do not agree with some things they do) tried to do that, then the Panthers would come yelling racism again. I am just lost as to why they think they can do it and not white people. Can someone explain this to me?

that's called reverse discrimination. unfotunately this stigma has been set upon society that only white people can be racist. that is definately not the case. if only i had a quarter for every time i've heard "i can't be racist, i'm black" i'd be one rich mofo. unfortuantely, this type of ignorance runs rampant in our society. the only thing we can do to combat this is to raise our children to know that color is only that... color. we all bleed red and cry saline tears. we're just "wrapped" differently.
