Don't mind Ochdx, we deal with him all day in News & Rumors. He humps Toyota catalogs before he goes to sleep.

drive both man and auto ISs and tell us which is quicker because I still think auto is quicker than the man(for toyota/lexus) h:

I wouldn't say anything about the seats until you actually sit in them and feel them. My moms seats are nice and do not look cheap by any means. I don't think Lexus would cheap out on the mini GS

i have sat in them. plenty of times. my buddy has one, we've had a couple for sale at the dealer i work for. nice cars. beautiful build quality. there's a much bigger gap between toyota/lexus than there is between honda/acura.

that's what im getting. plenty of luxury for me, a nice powerplant and a 6spd.

my friend that owns an IS keeps trying to get me to buy one... they're nice cars, but im not planning on doing a lot of mods to this next car i buy. if i got an IS i'd want to turbo it. i'll be okay with intake, exhaust and a crank pulley on the accord.

Well, the suede seats are nice, but the dashboard, door panels, etc are cheap and not much better than 3 series and g35. The new IS350 however has amazing interior.

Yep, and the 05 has simply gorgeous interior, wood trim, precise panel fitment, ML audio and the rest of the goodies. However the 05 is a lesser sports car than the previous one - sure, the 350 is a beast in straight line, running mid 13's in 1/4 mile, but it's handling is handicapped by electronic nannies and it's kind of nose heavy.

The first IS300 is quick, handles great, and can be made into a pure beast as it has essentially the same motor as Toyota Supra.
