All this talk about AR15s and high cap mags makes me jealous h:

I had a chance to buy some AR15 lowers and "get by" the ban, but $$$ just didnt allow for me to. h: Oh well.

is the ammo illegal or not? I dont really know about this stuff but a friend of mine has 2 ak47's and he cant seem to get ammo for them.

7.62x39 is in high demand right now since we are refitting Iraq with weapons after we destroyed them...go figure

Never shot .223 through an AK or SKS and I think to do the it would have to be a variant and not a straight AK or SKS.

No it is not illegal in Cali...but like I said when you go to the gun store to get it you will pay premium prices for it due to short supply currently.
