sorry about your car..dont u have to have full coverage ins to collect anything if the car is totaled? i thought if the car is considered totalled they deduct the damage amount from what they consider the car to be worth then cut u a check for the difference. if u dont file a claim they wont raise your ins rates on your cars. i dont think u can claim this on homeowners ins. there is no basis for the claim.

 

I wouldn't be totalled, I don't think the damage is that costly.

I'm just going to go ahead and forego going through insurance at all and just have a body shop repair it.
