ya accuracy place a great roll in it. but in order to shoot a 69 3 times in a season and once in the state championships i dont think my accuracy could be that bad. i played almost every day since the 8 grade until i graduated. i just now have time to finally pick up the clubs again and start playing, its been over a year since i have played do to not having any time.

my dominant problem with my driving is that i tend to slice... not to mention that i need to work on my distance... everybody that i have golfed with has told me that i tend to to straighten up in my swing and i dont hit the ball squarely because of it. hopefully some time at the range this spring will help me fix that problem. as for the slice, i dont know what the hell my problem is :happysad:
The changing degrees on drivers changes the launch angle of the ball, the trajectory of the ballflight, and ultimately the distance. If you really want to fix your slice, take some lessons from someone who knows what they're doing.

I am a hack but I enjoy a game once in a while.

I picked up a cheap set with bag at a used sports store for $90 then picked up a decent driver for $75 and a putter for $35 and I am happy.

I go out to have fun and hang with friends, if I ever get to where my score is important to me I will probably stop playing.

thats me too for the most part. the primary reason i'd like to improve my score though is to increase the number of friends im comfortable to play with. i dont wanna be the guy that holds the rest of the group up, that takes the fun out of it when everybody else is on the green and im still hackin my way up the fairway (or out of the rough )
