you seriously need to re evaluate who did what songs...

Survivor did eye of the tiger

jimi was a major part of both groups he was in (band of gypsies and the jimi hendrix experience) but both the groups were very differnt from each other

Band of Gypsies(Jimi Hendrix) - Foxy Lady
The Jimi Hendrix Experience(Jimi Hendrix) - Purple Haze

again the same thing with eric clapton

Derek and the Dominos (Eric Clapton) - Layla

and thinking about clapton--

cream- sunshine of your love

Yeah I meant Survivor but wrote Journey. And as far as I'm concerned, both Hendrix and Clapton carried the rest of the band, and are the only ones worth mentioning.

are you negating the presence of Duane Allman? basically anywher in that song-- hell in that album you here a slide guitar is either him or there because of him.

allman brothers- sweet melissa, jessica, ramblin' man, midnight rider--

as for band of gypsies buddy miles is the reason that jimi hendrix was able to acomplish his goal of reaching a wider audience with such songs as foxey lady... he was able to capture buddy's audience with his guitar, but the audience would not have been there if it werent for buddy miles.
