Gang Starr is awesome and gets nothing but respect. Step in the Arena is on my top 10 all time hip hop albums

the lyrics born album i bought last week (thanks to something nightshade posted a little while back) came in yesterday and im really diggin the music. i havent heard something this refreshing in a while. might be due to the fact that i got turned off to mainstream music and thought it took too much effort to snoop around lookin for better music.

nah the beats he uses and the lack of swearing every other word is very refreshing. I am glad you checked his stuff out and glad I turned you onto some good stuff

The entire Quannum catalogue is worth collecting, so far I haven't found anything on that label that I haven't liked.

Yeah I picked up a Lyrics Born album and it is pretty refreshing. I wish Soul Plasma was more readily available

Then again, I don't go for much hip-hop, and I'm not sure why Rage chose Gang Starr as an opener since their styles are so different.

I saw the same show in NorCal....Rage with Gangstarr and Dilated Peoples....best show I've ever seen.
