I may be getting rid of my 01 teg LS for a 98 Eclipse GST(2500 bucks). What do u guys think, what should I do?

 

Personally I don't care for the Eclipse, but that's just me. Honda all the way!!!

 

I agree I like my teg but 210 hp is better than 140 anyday. Plus for 2500 its a steal even w/ 124xxx. But if nothing else I'll fix it up, sell it, andd turbo my teg w/ the money I get.

 

Thought you were geting rid of the teg. I would put that money into the teg, I'm not a Mitsu fan.

 

You'd better have additional funds set aside for maintenance.

A 98 GST selling for that little has either been beat to hell and back, or is a salvage title vehicle. In either case, I'd be wary.

No If the eclipse isn't what I want I'll fix it up and sell it but if I like it I'll sell the teg and get some parts for it and save for college.

He said the car needed work, but when I asked him what was wrong w/ the car he told me, the valves were tapping and he said they needed adjusted or replaced, he obviously had no clue about what he was talking about, he wasn't a gearhead at all. So a 99 buck valve adjustment and a look at the other stuff and I'm good 2 go.

 

My friend just got one and it's nothing special. :dunno: Turbo the teg.

2500 is a steal though.
