i know one of my buddies who had a 600rr was always mouthing off about how i was faster in the curves cause i had a 954rr & he had a 600rr....so i challenged him to a race if we swapped bikes. i even gave him a 10 second head start & still whipped his ass riding his 600 & him on my 954....a lesson i learned by freddie spencer when i went to his racing school in vegas. in a 10-lap race, freddie relapped the whole class almost twice on a "wimpy" F4i

there is nothing more humbling than about 4 laps in, thinking you are riding the shit outta a bike, only to have freddie come around you on the inside, w/ one hand off the bars pointing the correct line you should've taken, pulling away & then 3 or 4 laps later, he's back on your ass again, about to pass you again wned:

Yeah a lot of it is driver skill. I don't consider myself very confident on my bike, even after owning it for over a year and having rode 3 years before hand. Lot different than a car, whole lot less forgiving.

I have an 05' R6 and it is more power than I will EVER need. I got a good deal on it when my buddy wanted to upgrade to an R1. Definitely don't see wtf people are doing with a 1.3L Hyabusa. That's just asinine. h:
