When it comes to liter bikes, I prefer just going V-Twin. My RC has torque fucking everywhere. It only redlines at 10,000RPM (vs. 14,000+ for I-4 bikes), and will get burned around town, but on the highway I have yet to have anything touch me.

They're scary. h: I'd recommend staying at 600cc or under for a beginners bike.

This old CB750 my friend built that he wants to sell will make a good beginners bike, it's probably what I'd buy if I was getting one. It's like a '68 or something and he did some custom things on it, like the straightpipes h:. It rides hard and it's pretty stripped down which I like, a good basic bike.

Definently scary, I was trying to see how fast the 954 would accelerate and keep the wheel down. I was leaning forward as much as possible and I only barely got it wide open by the top of first.

look at the pics in the blog link i posted.....joe rocket jacket & arai helment saved my life.

arai said it took ~6500 lbs/sq. in. of force to crack that helmet the way it did

the helmet took the brunt of the trauma, but still transfered some to my jaw & managed to break it(jaw) in 3 places

if not for the helmet, i'd be dead....fo sho

Can you even in NH? Not legal in MA. It must be really nice, but yeah, its too dangerous.

I want an F4i. They are a good all-around bike.

NH is one of the few states I know of that doesn't require a helmet (or a seatbelt, 18+). It used to be 12+ for a seatbelt :hsugh:
