So does the K&N make it sound any different. Im gonna go with a Aem V2 system for that, but I was just curious. I know it will increase airflow a little better.

It flows better than a stock paper filter. And so does every other aftermarket filter for the most part.

K&N's selling point is low maintenance.

My giant K&N cone is all gross and dirty, but I figure since it was intended for like a supercharged mustang or something and it 3x too big for my car I'll just put it off longer. h:

Well, 1600cc does have a lot of air demand.

It's true. People have died being sucked into the throttle body of B16's. It's like a turbine, and sounds like a jet when VTEC engages.

K&N cleaned/oiled once a year.

It was in gear on jackstands. h:

I just had to do the same thing again to replace my speedo cable and make sure the speedometer was working. I had no VTEC for a week.
