Default pc help again?

well my sis ram did not work so she wants a new pc now she wants a dell but i tell hger to build it 4 cheaper. so she wants to spend 700ish not with a flat panal monitor. can you guys give me some sweet setups for around that ballpark?

buy a dell, save yourself the trouble of getting software.

And save yourself the trouble of fixing it when it goes bad. Same with putting everything together. Same with dealing with drivers. Same with errthing. Building a computer for someone else is the lose. People who ask me to build a computer for them...I tell them its just better to get a Dell. Which is true.

i can build a pc i did mines 2 yra ago i was just wonder whats a good setup since i havent been keeping up with pc stuff recently. when i did mines something almost top of the line was xp 2200..so thats what i mean whats decent for around 700ish.

So you are building from nothing? Nothing is going to be reused? What will the computer be used for?
