Did you sign a lease agreement with the person? If you did make them give you something since they're breaking it.

Month to month lease... but both parties need to gice a one month notice to cancel it.

I just havent paid him yet this month... and I'll prolly end up pro rating it when I do leave.

sucker. over in these parts, i'm pretty sure it's required by law. just water, that is. heat/hot water, electric, depends.. i could be wrong though.
