as gay as this sounds ... I need to head over to Target and check out their home sale. Throw pillows, bed sheets, curtains, and such are at 50% off. The one near my house had an ass load of stuff, but I wonder what the others have.

In an episode of MTV Cribs, Tommy Lee had a gigantic pile of pillows in one spot, no furniture, just pillows ... I want to do that. h:

they're cheap if you do find the ones you like.

I got something like this in white for $8.98

I even picked up a graphite metallic curtain rod for $9. (it's like a dark grey chrome)

The best place for pillows and such, is Big Lots. They look decent and are also cheap.

Until I have kids and they are out of the house, I will not have nice furniture. Except for the theater room, in which they would be beaten severely if anything was broken.

with your wood working skills, you can easily build a cage or some sort of retainment unit.

No, I will use my handywork skills and put a lock on the door so if something does happen, someone really wanted to be in there.

I can make him one, so it looks good when guests are around, and functional when they are not.

So when guests are over and the kids are bad, all he has to do is point at the box, and the kids automatically behave. The guests will call it the "Magic Box"
