Cam Waugh (of CWS tuning) did a B18A swap into the Metro's older cousin, the Chevy Sprint. The only substantial difference was that the Metro had an independent rear suspension, compared to the beam axle rear on the Sprint.

 Hmm...

I have seen the B16 dropped into a Geo (forget which one) and it was doing some pretty nice times once he got the bugs worked out. It was a pain in the ass to get it all running from what I remember though.

That's an interesting choice of motor for a Hyundai.
Frankly, I'd take the beaten path of swapping in a 4G63 instead. h:

A lot of the Samurai guys go back and forth between Trackers and Sammis.
Trackers really are great little trucks. Very easy to drive on trails because they are very compact. Light. Can be pretty fun. More fun than a fullsize pickup offroad. My goodness you might as well walk around with a bowling ball on your hip...

Thx that thing is pretty sweet too. Not a lot of clearance but he is locked up front and rear and can get around the trails really well.
