Default goodbye honda

Hey, thanks to everyone who has answered questions for me over the past year or two... but I have decided to move on from honda. I recently purchased a 2004 IS300 5spd manual, and will be devoting my energy to this. I did not want to be limited by having performance canceled out by front wheel drive, and the IS300 gives me a fairly light weight, rearwheel drive, 6 cylinder platform to work on.

Just so you everyone knows, the honda was still arguably more fun to drive then my currently stock IS300, and with the suspension mods I had, the accord could whip the lexus around nearly any turn you can throw at it. The only problem was when the accord broke loose, it broke loose, and god only knew if you'd be able to straighten her back out... the lexus breaks loose a little earlier, but with rear wheel drive, you can play with the gas to make the back end do whatever you want....

I give the accord a lot of credit, for minimal wheel/tire/suspension mods, you can have a car that outhandles most cars on the road... I think the naysayers in this forum may be a bit misguided... the accord may never be fast, but it sure can be nimble.

the accord uses an independent multilink as well as a double wishbone, it's a much more nimble foundation than those based off macpherson struts.

i honestly dont think i could buy a car with a macpherson suspension...

and the IS is a really nice car, have fun with it, but be careful.

yeah sorry about that... i tried to scale it down, but evidently I wasn't able to...

the car has an amazing midrange, but gets a little bogged down off the line... hopefully an intake, an exhaust and an emanage fix that up

right now the biggest problem is its obscene amount of body roll, but I'm used to my 94 dropped on H&Rs with Tokico struts and sway and strut bars all around... I didn't realize how good I had it
