the 300 with upgraded suspension should handle much better. as for the bogging on the low end, i'd think that a supercharger on a 6cyl would be the way to go. a SRI might help the low end a little, but intakes and exhuasts generally only help when the airflow is getting in the engines way, at the top end.

there are a lot of options for forced induction as the engine is the same engine in the NA supra, and can handle boost very well... I was thinking a supercharger down the line for its combination of low end grunt and reliability... plus if you do it right, you can hit well over 300 rwhp on 7-8 pounds of boost and moderate tuning. Right now, i don't want to void the warranty, and I'm a little low on cash after my purchase... a few years down the line though, the go fast stuff begins... I'm glad you all like the is300... it was this or an evo 8, and I think this is more practical

A well designed MacPherson strut system loses nothing to a double wishbone suspension.

Edit: (To the OP) By the way, that's a very nice car

it's more of a feeling rather than a performance thing. it's weird but for some reason i can tell the difference and i just dont like it.

Well best of luck finding a car that you can live with then....most cars are moving towards MacPherson struts for space/sprung mass benefits.
