Toshiba laptop is my second choice, I still have my first toshiba laptop. is the protege 7200 p3 600mhz. I love the fact how thin and reliable this laptop is. (perfect for gps n the car)

I have a 10 year old IBM thinkpad that still works as good as the day I got it. I don't use it anymore but my sister uses it to type up papers in her room when someone else is at the main computer or if it is too noisy downstairs.

I really want to go with a business class machine because I know that they are built a little tougher. I have a 233 mhz Dell Latitude with a 4 gig HD that I am using as my "backup" computer while this thing has been out. Damn thing just ticks away (albeit slowly). I even punched the LCD once out of frustration.

I have a dell inspiron.. I think the 9600 series?? I dont know but its not really a laptop. it has the 17" widescreen trubrite and the factory resolution is at like 1900.

Its great for media and graphic purposes. I think it has a geforce in it and a TON of memory. I bought it for use with autocad and Pro E.

Now I just surf han, myspace and craiglist with it.

I keep looking at the new MacBook Pro 1.67ghz w/1gig of ram and salivating. I want it bad and with an education discount it is only $1,900. I figure that for the extra $20 I will upgrade the ram w/Apple (versus buying a dimm elsewhere). This is all moot until i see wht they replace my current PC with.
