Default Workout crew: testosterone?

Alright,

So for the past few months I've been going to the gym regularly. I'm currently taking creatine and 100% whey protein.

I was talking to one of my friends saying I'm still having some trouble gaining muscle mass. he suggested taking some testosterone, such as xyience's xtest.

what are you guy's feelings on taking testosterone? Ive read that it helps increase muscle mass, strength, and energy...

I don't know much about people taking testosterone...I don't know the side effects associated with taking it, nor the long term effects. I'd definitely look into them. How's your diet? If you want to gain mass, you have to take in lots of calories, not just supplement protein and creatine.

Yeah. As far as my diet. I've been eating alot more and it seems like i say "im hungry" more frequently, so I eat.

Right now, im 19 yrs old, 6'1". 160 lbs. My body fat is really low. Most of my muscle is lean muscle due to the cardio workout i get from martial arts.

I'm looking to bulk up on the muscle

I bet the cardio is what's keeping you from bulking. Eating more frequently is good.

there are natural ways to boost your testosterone level.

also, wokring out in the mornings may help as your body has higher testosterone then.

btw, are you resting enough between workouts?
also, eat a lot of red meat and dietary fats (including saturated fats). this has been shown to boost test levels. a lot of carbs too.

i dont have any experience with xyience's xtest, but i have taken tribulus terrestris and tribestin and both have seemed to have helped me gain weight. my friends have taken 6-OXO and have gotten good results with that.

You probably need to eat more (every 2 hours) if you are hungry or not and eat high protein. How old are you? Its not good for younger males to take testosterone because naturally our bodies produce plently of it unless you have some kind of difficiency(sp?) or something.

If you want to bulk, cardio is the enemy.

This is very true also. Since you are 19 I would stay away from the testosterone though... If you are still not gaining weight try eating even more than you are now and maybe going and getting some weight gainer from gnc or somewhere online... it should help you out a bit.

also doing too many reps with light weights will elongate your muscles. lots of weight + only a small amount of reps (till u cant do no more) will increase bulk. screw the testosterone. my friend got in trouble during a pee test bc of it, they said he was taking steroids since alot of steroids,if not all, are just hormones. which is why buff women are manly. and hairy. with deep voices.

but yeh why not just take the time to gain bulk? your metabolism will slow down eventually. creatine and protein is enough, dont you think? you have the advantage over alot of ppl bc youre cut.
