i wish there was a track around me... i have to drive 3 hours to get to a track. but that doesn't make street racing right still. like some have said its been around for so long and sadly it will never go away.

I am not sure what you mean by who don't have a lot of work into the car. Its just the losers in civics that are doing it on crowded streets
The track is a lot different than the streets, and all the safety equipment requirements is a PITA and can hurt you if you go to resell the car, therefore the track is not a viable option if you have a legitimate sub 10 second car unless you want to hack it up and put a cage, scatter shield, chute, etc in.

Its probbaly because i didn't start driving yet so i don't understand.

They lack the mental capacity to understand what may happen if they do proceed with racing. They are speeding in a enclosed cacoon of metal that weighs over 2,000lbs projecting itself down a street.
I used to race around on the highway etc but, as I got older I started to realize
ehhyy..... I could kill someone, myself or get my car impounded. One of my best friends passed away in a car crash in 98. He was racing and killed himself and his passenger which was also his sister.
