I don't think that would be the problem. It would try to connect to other networks then...

It might be because you're mixing brands. Alot of the routers don't like recievers from other brands, also they're two different types of wireless. One is g and the other b. I don't think thats the problem though, it might be contributing to it a little.

Look through the settings of your router and read the users manual.

that doesnt matter. 802.11 is a standard that all companies have to create their devices around.

are you using the windows wireless software or the motorola wireless software?
