question about satellite tv

i want to get either dish or directv and was wondering how it would work w/4 rooms hooked up

ive been looking and it says that for every 2 rooms, only 1 receiver is necessary? how would that work

ok, and the receiver would separate the programming? so that each unit would have different programming?

yup... its has 2 separate tuners... and the 2nd remote is RF.

if you converting cause you want to be "testing" then be carefull, it's harder then it used to be
