Im going to be moving to a new apt this saturday. So i called my cable company up (RCN) and told them that im moving and i want my service switched over. They said fine and all that stuff. So they scheduled me to be moved on saturday which is fine. Well....i get home yesterday and realize im not online.....i look at my modem...and the cable light is off...so im like :wtf: I turn my tv on..................and its snowy..........NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Those FUCKERS cut my cable off early. I called them up and unfortunately they arent able to cut my service back on cus they disconnected my equipment from the pole. So right now i have no Interweb or CableTV at home.....it's soooo boring...i had to watch movies i havent seen for a while.

Well that ends my rant.....thanx for listening....Im bout to call them up just to make sure i aint paying and how they are going to compensate me for there fuck up.

 

how do you post on HAN? btw, times to go out and leave HAN behind for a better real life :-p

RCN is pretty shitty.

 

i have insight for cable tv. they r not much better. they disconnect the wrong person here alot..takes them forever to get out here and reconnect.. its just a wire in the box on the outside of the building.. do get the bill prorated..u have to give them notice its out.. they go from the time u contact them to prorate, not the time u noticed it was disconnected..
