I wouldn't "put my eggs all in one basket". If you lose your phone, you lose your mp3 player. If you break your phone, you break your mp3 player. If your mp3 player runs out of juice, you lose your phone too. If you upgrade your phone, you lose your mp3 player. There's too many dependencies.

Well, I bought the 8100. It is awesome. I went to Best Buy and got a 1 gig miniSD card also.
